What is Menstrual Poverty?

500 Million People Still Lack Access to Menstrual Hygiene

Across the world, millions of girls and women face barriers to managing their periods safely and with dignity. Without access to hygiene products, sanitation facilities, and education, menstruation can become a barrier to health, confidence, and opportunity.

In Brazil and across South America, many communities still struggle with limited access to menstrual health resources, especially in rural areas and underserved urban neighborhoods.

But this is a problem with real solutions—and growing awareness is beginning to change the story.

Our Mission

Breaking the silence around menstrual health and building support networks for women and girls.

Our mission is simple: ensure that menstruation never prevents a girl from living, learning, or thriving.

Through the distribution of hygiene products, menstrual health education, and community partnerships, we work to support women and girls in vulnerable communities across Brazil.

By encouraging knowledge, solidarity, and access to essential resources, we aim to transform stigma into empowerment and create networks of support for future generations.

For all of us. For every woman who still deserves to be seen, heard, and cared for.
